Korea Answers

Privacy

Draft. A lawyer will review this text before launch, and the operator will fill in the details in square brackets.

Who is responsible

Site operator: [name or company], [email address for requests].

What we collect

For sign-in: your name and email (email link or Google), your Telegram id and name (Telegram sign-in), and a nickname if you set one. Your questions, "I have this question too" marks, answer ratings, and paid-help requests with a contact. Technical data: session cookie, IP address and browser details.

Why

To answer questions, publish answers, tell you about answers and rule changes, follow up on help requests, and protect the site from abuse.

What is published

Questions are published after we remove names, phone numbers, document numbers and other personal details. Your nickname, or your first name and last initial, is shown with the question. Only you and the moderator see the original text.

Artificial intelligence

Draft answers are prepared by an AI model running on the operator's computer in Korea; question texts are not sent to cloud AI services. A person checks every answer before it is published, and AI-drafted answers are labelled on the site.

Who receives data

Hosting: Hostinger ([data-centre region]). Email delivery: [email provider]. Telegram notifications go through Telegram. Google processes Google sign-in. We do not sell data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. On request we delete your account, questions and related data, unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to [email address].

Cookies

We only use necessary cookies: for sign-in and for the anonymous "did this help" rating.
